About Us

Our Story

The founding team has the first hand privilege to work and understand the challenges faced by his family logistic company and the conventional tracking solution. The same pain points were also faced by other companies and that is lack of visibility, poor communication and resource wastage. SafeTruck decided to set out on a mission to develop a software that will efficiently control the fleet, maximize the resource utilization, bridge all the telematics and deliver the most useful solution to the industry. Safe Truck Sdn Bhd was set up in 2017 with this in mind and since then, the company has grown by leap and bound.

Significant Milestone

2017

SafeTruck was founded to transform the fleet industry by leveraging on the power of innovation, big data and cloud based IoT technology.

2018

SafeTruck is the first IoT based fleet management company to receive Cradle Fund support incorporated under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF). This year, we successfully acquired more than 1000 commercial vehicles across northern and central region in Malaysia.

2019

SafeTruck closed our first seeding round with Penang i4 Seed Fund backed by Penang Development Corporation (PDC) . This year, we also secured partnership with Easybook (M) Sdn Bhd, leading online transport ticketing platform in Southeast Asia and telematic service providers to support our journey as the market leader in IoT system aggregators.

2020

With SafeTruck's mission is to drive ESG digitization, we have achieved 200% growth for vehicle acquisition in Malaysia despite pandemic. We have helped our customer to better monitor and control their fleet operations by providing the data transparency through IoT technology.

2021

Partnering with leading providers and oil and gas companies, SafeTruck have developed one-stop-solution for vehicle control management integrated with full control on fuel monitoring equipped with workshop and breakdown services. We have started to serve our customer based in east Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. As a universal telematics digital fabrication, SafeTruck have sucessfully helped our customer to save up to 30% of annual revenue by optimizing fleet operations.

2022

Over the last 3 years of commercialization, SafeTruck has successfully accomplised the goal to unleash customer business potential and aims to connect the gaps between vehicle and driver for a better data transparency on analyzing end-to-end fleet operations.

- We have achieved USD 1 Million with 15 thousands of commercial vehicles track daily.
- SafeTruck also secured partnership with Malaysia's first digital insurer in order to disrupt the insurance telematics for logistic industry.

With the official launch of DriverCare, a safety-focused driver mobile applications authorized by the Ministry of Transportation (MoT) in Malaysia, we aim to ensure safety ICOP compliance.

In Q3 2022, SafeTruck has expanded geographically in Indonesia to achieve better support across Southeast Asia.

We won the grand prize in Huawei Spark Ignite Global Competition 2022 over 1500 applicants and 40+ countries across the globe.

We were then shortlisted in Top 50 Global Startups in SLINGSHOT 2022 over 3,600 startup applicants from more than 150 markets including leading startup hubs such as Israel, Germany, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam.

During the SLINGSHOT 2022 Competition at Singapore, Enterprise Singapore and Huawei Spark Ignite's Chief Digital Officer appreciated Wilson with cash voucher over our win for the Huawei Spark Ignite Global Competition.
